Shortcut Keys to Change Uppercase Text and Lowercase Text

Any text that is in all uppercase or lowercase can be changed by using the shortcut key Shift+F3. Steps to change lowercase and uppercase text using keyboard or shortcut keys.

Using Keyboard Shortcut

  1. Highlight all the text you want to change.
  2. Hold down the Shift key and press F3.
  3. Each time you will press F3 text will change to lowercase to uppercase Or uppercase to lowercase.

There is an another option to change Lower case/Upper case. Microsoft word also have an option to change Lowecase/Uppercase

Steps:

  • At the top of the Word program(In the menu bar) window, on the Home tab, click the Change Case icon

  • Select the appropriate option from the list of values. For example, if you want change to all uppercase letters, select the UPPERCASE option. If you want to change to all lowercase letters, select the lowercase option.

Note: You can also use online tool to change uppercase to lowercase or vise versa.
